Play using these left-hand fingers (not fret numbers). An item with an exclamation point

“!” indicates a stretch, or skipping a fret. In 5^th position

①!② from the 5^th fret to the 7^th fret using fingers ① and ②

③!④ from the 7^th fret to the 9^th fret using fingers ③ and ④

②!① from the 6^th fret to the 4^thfret using fingers ② and ①

Starting in 5^th position, play with fingers on the following frets:

!① 4^th fret ① 5^th fret ② 6^th fret      !② 7^th  fret ③ 7^th fret  ④ 8^th fret     !④ 9^th fret

Tablature 1^st string, 5^th fret, finger numbers above (“11” is ① twice, not eleven). “!” marks a stretch.
